EDWARD F. ANDERSON  (1931-2001)
Professor Edward F. Anderson was a highly experienced biologist and great (Peyote) Cactus connoisseur (> 45 years !).
Edward F. Anderson studied the Peyote even before his doctoral degree at the University in 1961 ! 

Edward F. Anderson wrote:

-- in and contributed to many books.
-- and published in many journals.
-- also a standard book on all Cacti: The Cactus Family (2001). 

Edward F. Anderson was:
-- Senior Research Botanist at the ‘Desert Botanical Garden’ (Phoenix, Arizona).
-- President of the IOS (International Organisation for Succulent Plant Study).
-- Winner of the Cactus d'Or in 1998 for outstanding research in Succulents.
