The crosses (hybrids) below are hybrids between two different species of Echinopsis (Trichocereus).

1. Mescaline in hybrids

Both species of Echinopsis from which the hybrid originates contain Mescaline.

Therefore, the hybrid is likely to contain Mescaline.

2. Characteristics and Shape of hybrids

Hybrids are created by crossing two different Cactus species or forms.

The hybrids have properties from both parents.

3. Thorns on hybrids

Trichocereus bridgesii has very long thorns.

Trichocereus scopulicola has very short spines.

A cross between them will probably have fewer long thorns than Tr. bridgesii.

But longer spines than Tr. scopulicola.

4. Colour of the epidermis of hybrids

The epidermis of Tr. bridgesii is blue-grey.

The epidermis of Tr. scopulicola is dark green.

An interbreed has a light green colour of the epidermis.

5. Trichocereus huarazensis

Many crosses are with Trichocereus huarazensis.

1. Mescaline bij hybriden

Beide soorten Echinopsis waaruit de hybride afkomstig is bevatten Mescaline.

De kruising zal daarom waarschijnlijk ook Mescaline bevatten.

2. Eigenschappen en Vorm van de hybriden

Hybriden ontstaan door kruising van twee verschillende Cactus soorten of vormen.

De hybriden hebben eigenschappen van beide ouders.

3. Doorns bij hybriden

Trichocereus bridgesii heeft erg lange doorns.

Trichocereus scopulicola heeft zeer korte doorns.

Just wanted to let you know that I prepared about 90cm and this one was insanely strong.

I normally charge 40cm per person,

we about 2 people finished 55cm and that was enough.

I was glad I felt 2 hours first before we took the second half.

It would also have been difficult for me to guide if we had taken it all.

My traveller was a first timer and had his hands full, couldn't have handled more.
