These plug-in labels are thin, pliable, strong and unbreakable.

Advantages of flexible plug-in labels
1. Easy to stick in the jar
These flexible, thin labels are easy to stick along the edge of the pot.
This is especially important for well-rooted plants, because thinner labels do not damage the roots or damage them less when they are inserted.
Also useful with stony substrates such as lava gravel, which hardly allow themselves to be pressed in.
2. Dries out less quickly
These bendable labels dry out less quickly due to weather influences such as sun (UV light) and heat.

Disadvantages of Rigid labels
Thicker unbendable labels, possibly with two curved edges:
1. dry out much faster, and break and pulverise sooner.
2. are harder to push into firm soil types.
Such as in compact and well-rooted soil, and in rock-based soil mixtures.
Stony substrates such as lava dust allow poor pressing.
