WHAT IS LOPHOPHORA WILLIAMSII FORMA CAESPITOSA ?
Introduction
This sprouting form of Lophophora williamsii, already makes many new heads as a young and small plant.
This creates a Peyote group, also called Peyote cluster, or Peyote sod.
All heads belong to one (1) Cactus.
Usually there is a large central main head, surrounded by smaller side heads.
Sometimes several Peyote Cacti together in a pot are also offered as a Peyote cluster.
Mescaline content
The Mescaline content is identical to the Mescaline concentration of Lophophora williamsii (Peyote Cactus).
Age of the offered cacti
The many-headed Peyote Cacti offered are already about 10 years old, and have grown very compact and stocky.
Cuttings of Peyote heads
Heads from 1 cm in diameter can be cut off and left to dry for three weeks.
Then pot them in dry Peyote soil, and let them root.
Meaning of the name
caespitosa = sod-forming
cluster = English = cluster, group, swarm.
sod = overgrown piece of ground, square outcropping of grass.
