Mescaline Cacti we prefer to send registered and insured.
7. We will ship your order within 1 - 5 days of receiving your payment.
8. After shipment your order will be delivered :
-- on the next working day in the Netherlands (parcel, but not on weekends).
-- in 1-2 days (parcel to Belgium).
-- IN 2 - 7 working days in the EU.
9. You may return your order to us within 14 days without giving reasons.
10. You get 5% discount from an order amount of 300 Euro (now including books and magazines).

8. STORAGE OF MESCALINE CACTI
8.1 Storage of Mescaline Cacti
Our Mescaline Cacti stand in the light until they are packed for shipment.
Packing is done in the afternoon.
Orders are delivered to a Post Office at the end of the same afternoon or in the evening.
8.2 Storage of Mescaline Cacti with other providers
Many online providers have their purchased Mescaline Cacti stored sometimes for months.
The Mescaline Cacti lie on a shelf or rack in the home or business waiting to be shipped.
This reduces the quality, and changes the natural shape of these stored Cacti.
These Mescaline Cacti are sometimes later sold as B-quality, but often not .....
8.3 Storage conditions at others:
1. in too little light or sometimes even in the dark.
E.g. in artificial light, in front of a window, already wrapped in paper or cardboard.
Dark standing Cacti and cuttings grow unnaturally, thin, limp, and light green to white further.
8.4 Lying horizontally on shelves or racks.
Lying Cacti or cuttings bend and grow upward, especially straight columnar Cacti.
When Cacti are lying down, damage occurs such as:
-- broken and bent over thorns.
-- scratches and holes in the epidermis.
-- bruising of the Cactus tissue.
8.5 Consequences of Storage of Mescaline Cacti:
Mescaline Cacti that are stored
1. continue to grow thinner, lighter and slant upward.
2. dry out.
3. lose vitality.
4. become more fragile and susceptible to :
pests, infections from bacteria and fungi, sun, heat and cold, moisture and water.

9. ORDERING
9.1 Ordering with the shopping cart
At the top right of every page is the Shopping Cart.
It contains all items you have placed in the shopping cart.
By clicking on the green button Order you will get to the Shopping Cart page.

Here you will see all the items you have placed in the shopping cart.
Each item you can remove, or change the quantity.
The total price of your order is shown at the bottom right of this page.
Clicking the green Order button will take you to the Order pages Step 1, 2 and 3 .
9.3 Ordering - Step 1, 2 and 3
On these order pages you can enter information about the shipping method, your address, and comments.
On each page there is an explanation of the data to be filled in.
Clicking the Next button will take you to the next order page.
9.4 Ordering - Step 3
Here is a summary of your order, along with your name and address information.
Check these details carefully !
If you click the “Send order” button your order will be sent to us .
9.5 Confirmation of your order
Within minutes you will receive an automatically sent confirmation of your order.
If you do not receive this confirmation, please contact us via the Contact page.
9.6 Free invoice
We will send you an e-mail on the same day before 24:00 with a complete overview of your order.
The exact shipping costs are also listed in this.
9.7 Purchase
Only now you decide whether you want to buy the Cacti and items or not.
When you pay the total amount of your order to us, a purchase agreement is made .
Which you can cancel even before shipping !
And which you can also cancel within 14 days of receiving your order !

9.8 Booking during 7 days
After we have sent you an email with the cost,
we reserve the books you ordered for 7 working days.
This is due to the often limited stock of books.
After this, the ordered books become available for sale again.
9.9 Changing your order
An order already placed can be changed:
-- until we have shipped your order.
-- and if we have read your change in time.

10. PAYMENT
10.1 Please pay the bill in advance
We require payment in advance, because we have no desire to wait months for defaulters.
And then for annoying collection procedures.
We prefer to be useful with our well-meaning customers, and with our Mescaline Cacti and web stores !
10.2 Pay safely with your own bank from the sent account
You pay at your own bank with a secure internet connection.
Or with a transfer card of your own bank.
10.3 Pay your order after 7 days
Do you still want to buy and pay for the ordered books after the expiration of 7 days,
please let us know by e-mail.
We will check if the books are still in stock.
They may have just been ordered by another order taker after 7 days ....
10.4 Other ways of payment
For other ways of payment, please contact us in advance.
For example, if you:
1. want to send cash.
2. want to pay cash on delivery.

11. PRIVACY AND PERSONAL DATA
11.1 We respect your privacy.
Information provided by you will not be disclosed or sold to third parties.
We will not send you unsolicited advertisements.
We will not ask you for payment details such as bank account number, bank card number etc.
You pay yourself at your own bank :
-- via a secure internet connection.
-- or with a transfer card from your own bank.
11.2 Discreet shipping
On the letter or on the package of your order only:
1. your name and address details.
2. our abbreviated name (C.P.A.) and our PO Box address.
This return address is important if your order cannot be delivered.
11.3 Secure server
Orders remain on our server until we have downloaded them.
This happens once a week.
Sent messages are forwarded directly from our mail server to our Gmail address.
Messages are therefore not kept online on our server, but are securely stored at Gmail.

12. DELIVERY
12.1 Delivery time of your order
After we have received your payment your order will be shipped to you within 1 - 5 days.
1. Sometimes on the same day for small orders and books.
2. A few days later if:
2.1 we are temporarily somewhere else.
2.2 certain freshly cut cuttings have yet to dry properly.
If you are in a hurry (birthday, vacation), please let us know in advance.
12.2 Please check address information.
Please check your name and address details on the invoice sent to you.
These details will be given on the address label.
12.3 Delivery to another address
If you wish, we can deliver your order to another address.
Please let us know in advance.
12.4 Delivery to an NS station
Orders can sometimes be delivered to an NS railway station.
12.5 Clear facilities at the front door
Postal companies in some countries have certain delivery address requirements.
At the front door, provide a:
1. bell that works.
2. house number that is clearly visible.
3. nameplate with your own name.

13. PACKING
Mescaline Cacti can be easily and safely shipped in a package.
Cuttings and Mescaline Cacti in a pot can stay packed for a week without damage.
13.1 Packing cuttings of Mescaline Cacti
We pack every Mescaline Cactus cutting in bubble wrap.
The chance of damage through the outside of the bubble wrap is virtually eliminated.
13.2 Packing plants of Mescaline Cacti
A Mescaline Cactus in a pot cannot move around because of the bubble wrap.
A Mescaline Cactus in a pot is :
2.1. in the Netherlands and to Belgium preferably with a dry root ball (shipping time 1 to 2 days).
2.2. to other countries always sent with a dry clod (shipping time 2-5 days).
13.3 Packing long Mescaline Cacti
Long Trichocereus species are shipped horizontally wrapped in bubble wrap.
They lie on several layers of bubble wrap, and sometimes on the soft plastic bags containing San Pedro Cactus soil.
Sometimes a wooden board is placed on the bottom of the box to reinforce the box.
13.4 Packing of Books
We pack books in foil, and then in bubble wrap.
The books are sent in a
-- cardboard mailbox box (maximum 3.2 cm thick) when sent as a letter.
The box is reinforced with wide tape.
-- large cardboard box if sent as a parcel.
The box is reinforced with wide tape.
13.5 Packaging of your Order
The packaging of your order is a sturdy box or letterbox box.
The box is additionally reinforced at all corners and lengthwise and widthwise with wide tape.
Often the box is also wrapped with strong nylon cord lengthwise and widthwise.
Tearing open during transport or express opening is thereby made extra difficult.
13.6 Protection from other Mescaline Cacti
Mescaline Cacti are additionally protected from other Mescaline Cacti and articles by:
1. placing partitions of cardboard or Styrofoam in a (large) box.
2. packing them in one or more smaller boxes, placed together in the large box.
13.7 Filling empty spaces.
Empty spaces are filled with crumbs of newspaper.
In this way, all Mescaline Cacti and items will sit stably in the box.
And the chance of damage is minimal.
13.8 Insurance against damage and loss
Your registered letter is insured against damage and loss up to 50 Euro.
Your registered package is insured against damage and loss up to 500 Euro.
13.9 Time of packing
Packing of the Mescaline Cacti is always done in the afternoon.
After this, your order will be delivered to the Post Office at the end of the afternoon.
This keeps the time the Mescaline Cacti are packed in a box to a minimum.

14. SHIPPING YOUR ORDER

We prefer to send larger orders by registered and insured mail.
In case of loss or damage there is no financial risk to you or us.
The delivery time of a registered letter or parcel is also shorter.
14.2 Discreet packaging
On every parcel and letter you will find:
1. your name and address.
2. our name as an abbreviation (CPA), and our PO Box address.
This is required for return if the package or letter cannot be delivered.
14.3 Address labels additionally reinforced
Transparent wide tape is stuck over each address label lengthwise and widthwise.
This makes spontaneous detachment or deliberate pulling off of a label more difficult.
And the label is protected from moisture and rain.

15. CALCULATING THE SHIPPING COSTS (2024)
15.1 Calculate shipping costs yourself
The weight of the articles is indicated in the description on each article page.
The low weight of the cardboard packaging is added.
You can roughly derive the PostNL shipping costs from this, see the table below.
The DPD shipping costs in the Netherlands are 5,60 Euro up to 10 kilo.
The DPD shipping costs are 12,25 Euro up to 10 kilos to Belgium.
15.2 Saving shipping costs
You can save shipping costs by:
1. having multiple Mescaline Cacti, items and books shipped in one package.

16. SHIPPING IN THE NETHERLANDS BY DPD (2024)
16.1 Shipping as a letterbox parcel with DPD in the Netherlands
Some items can be sent in a letter or in a letterbox package (maximum 3.2 cm thick).
A letter or letterbox package is not insured against loss or damage.
A letter is usually delivered to you the next day in the Netherlands, but not on Sunday or Monday.

16.2 Shipping as insured parcel with DPD in the Netherlands
We prefer to ship packages as “Registered and Insured Parcel” by DPD.

The costs are 6,25 Euro up to 10 kg for shipping in the Netherlands.

17. SHIPPING TO BELGIUM (2024)
17.1 Shipping as a letterbox parcel with DPD to Belgium
A letterbox box is not insured against loss or damage.
The letterbox box will be delivered to you in Belgium in 1 or 2 working days.
17.2 Shipping as insured parcel with DPD to Belgium
We ship insured packages to Belgium with DPD.
Your parcel is then insured against loss and damage.
In case of loss or damage, neither you nor we run any financial risk .
The status of a registered parcel can be followed on the Internet with a Track & Trace code.

18. SHIPPING TO EU COUNTRIES (2024)
17.1 Shipping as a letterbox parcel with DPD is sometimes possible.
A letterbox box is not insured against loss or damage.

We ship insured packages to EU countires with DPD, and sometimes with PostNL..
Your parcel is insured against loss and damage.
In case of loss or damage, neither you nor we run any financial risk.

19. SHIPPING COSTS FOR THE EU BY DPD
You'll pay the exact shipping costs we have to pay to DPD or PostNL.
Sometimes your parcel can be delivered to a DPD point, which saves 0,50 - 1 euros or more.

20. SHIPPING DURATION
20.1 Shipping time in the Netherlands of your order
You will receive an e-mail from us after we have delivered your package or letter to PostNL.
Your order (registered parcel & letter) will then be delivered to you the next working day in the Netherlands.
You must sign for receipt of a “Registered Parcel”.
20.2 Shipping time of your order to Belgium
You will receive an e-mail from us after we have delivered your parcel or letter to PostNL.
1. An “Insured Parcel” will be delivered to you in Belgium in 1 - 2 working days.
You have to sign for receipt.
4. A letterbox package will be delivered in 1 - 2 working days in Belgium.
You do not have to sign for receipt.

21. TRACKING OF YOUR ORDER
21.1 Track & Trace
Registered letters and parcels have their own barcode.
With this barcode you can see on the Internet where your package is in the delivery process.
In practice it is sometimes incorrect, especially with foreign shipments.
21.2 Track & Trace of foreign orders (outside the Netherlands and Belgium)
The delivery of orders in Europe (outside the Netherlands and Belgium) takes longer.
And can sometimes be delayed.
21.3 Send us a message in case of late delivery
If the delivery takes too long or does not go well send us a message !
This way you and we can act faster to retrieve a package.
Sometimes the package is waiting for you at a local post office,
without the deliverer having left a message in your mailbox !
N.B. Your order is often insured up to 500 Euros, so you do not run any financial risk.

22. CANCELLATION OF PURCHASE
22.1 Rescinding the purchase
A buyer of goods ordered online may cancel this purchase agreement
within 14 days of receiving the goods.
These 14 days “cooling-off period” begin on the day following the day of receipt of the goods.
22.2 How can you cancel your purchase ?
You can cancel your purchase by sending us a message in good time (see point 18.1 above).
In this message you write that you wish to cancel the purchase in whole or in part.
This message can be a response to an email sent to you by Mescaline Cacti.com.
This message can also be an e-mail that you send to us via Contact (top right of each web page).
22.3 Please e-mail the reason for cancellation in advance
If you want to cancel a purchase please let us know by e-mail before you return your order !
Maybe we can find a different and better solution to your dissatisfaction.
22.4 Reason for cancellation

23. RETURNING AN ORDER
23.1 Return within 14 days of receipt.
You have 14 days from the time of rescission of the sale to return your order to us.
23.1 Shipping costs of returning your order
The shipping costs for returning your order shall be borne by the buyer.
This is permitted under the “Distance Selling Act”.
23.2 Risk of return
The buyer is responsible that the returned goods are received by us in the same condition as when delivered to the buyer.

Make sure the returned items:
-- are well packed.
-- preferably sent back registered and insured.
Then you will have proof that the goods have been sent, and received by us.

Mail us the date you want to return ordered goods.
It is important that we collect returned Mescaline Cacti from our mailbox as soon as possible.

24. REFUNDING A CANCELLED PURCHASE
By law, the seller must refund all costs paid for a purchase.
So the cost of the returned goods, and also the shipping costs to the buyer.
24.1 Mescaline Cacti.com will refund within 14 days after your order has been received back by us:
1. the total amount paid for the returned goods.
2. other additional costs paid by you such as postage, insurance costs.
N.B. The return postage costs will be borne by the buyer.

24.2 If you do not return all purchased goods,
we will charge the cost of postage and insurance for the goods you do not return.
Any additional amount paid in excess of this amount will be remitted to you,
plus the amount of the returned goods.
24.3 Costs incurred after returning an order
Ultimately:
1. the seller paid the postage for shipping to the buyer.
2. the buyer paid the return postage to the seller.
3. PostNL sent two shipments and received the postage !
